IF ONLY IN HER DREAMS

When the moonlight spills in silver streams,

He pads the path between the dreams.

A whisper, soft as midnight air—

Shamrock, her brave boy, is there.

No sound of paws, no rustling leaves,

Just sudden peace that grief relieves.

She feels his breath, a gentle sigh,

Like wind beneath a starlit sky.

His eyes still hold that steadfast gleam,

As if he wandered through a dream

Of all her love and loss and tears—

Her guardian through all the years.

He doesn't speak in words or cries,

But still she hears his soul reply.

With every look, he seems to say:

"I never really went away."

He nudges close with phantom grace,

She strokes the contours of his face.

Though made of mist and midnight beams,

He feels so real inside her dreams.

They walk the hills they used to roam,

No leash, no time, just heart and home.

Each dream, a gift he softly weaves—

A promise that he never leaves.

And when the dawn begins to rise,

She wakes with tears and smiling eyes.

Though he no longer walks beside her,

He still comes home… inside her dreams.
